hello Mr.Bruce
How are you and how are the students?
Our school will start
in October and I am afraid to go to school any more.
I miss my friends and
the school.
Last year I did not go to school because my friend Marwa was
kidnapped. My mother didn't allow me to continue my education any more.
I am
sad.
I feel I am dead girl.I only watch TV in the house if there is
electricity .I have nothing to do in this world.
I cannot see my friends. I
can not see the people I love.I hate war and I hate people who do war.

When she and her friends formed Women of Peace in Baghdad about three years ago we were happily exchanging emails between students in Baghdad and Brooklyn. We thought things were going to get better. We didn't realize just how horrible life in Baghdad was to become. We never expected that Marwa, one of the founders, would be kidnapped.
