- 1 agriculture engineer was kidnapped from his house in Kut (south) byunidentified armed men. His house was mortared last September,
- 4 members of a group accused of kidnapping for money were arrested in Kut,
- 5 unidentified bodies were found in Baghdad by Iraqi police. They were distributed in different neighborhoods. All were shot in the head,
