China the Trade Cheat: WE THE PEOPLE won't take it anymore.

The elections are over and, regardless of your political leanings, there is one issue we seem to agree on. That issue is the unfair trade practices of China. They deflate the value of their
currency. They openly pirate music, videos and other
products. They produce massive quantities of "knockoffs" of
American products. They put barriers on the import of American
products into China and dump products here at deflated prices.
I have traveled throughout China and saw
that many products they produce are actually cheaper
in the U.S. than over there. We are being ripped off. These practices not only hurt our economy but
deprive American workersof jobs and income.
Some have called on our government to take action
and impose trade sanctions against
China. I disagree.
Such action would result in a "trade war" doing further harm to our economy. The solution I propose is as simple as A-B-C. We,
the public, the Americanconsumer can take action. When you go to buy
that phone, T-shirt, toy or whatever, look at where it was made and
say Anywhere But
China.
Rather than relying on our government to take
action, we can take action and send a clear message that WE THE PEOPLE won't
take it
anymore.
