So while all this big stuff is whirling around I’m reading NYT about President Trump’s budget proposal and the 2.6 billion dollars slotted for the Mexico/US wall and I see that one billion will go for planning and non-wall security measures.
Why so much security if the wall is going to be effective?
That’s pretty vague. That’s pretty wasteful since number of Mexico to US crossings steadily diminishes. And that seems like a lot of money. And when our tax dollars are ‘spent’ they do not vanish into the air. 2.6 billion dollars is intended for the pockets of executives of the sub-contractors who will plan for us a Marvelous wall, the best wall ever. #TAT

#ThinkingAboutThinking I played some 'Folk Music of Bulgaria' for some Iraqi friends. They didn’t get it. Something to do with my thinking the harmonies were unique and their thinking that these people were singing without ‘music’. I couldn’t get through the language barrier to really understand what their critique meant in my terms.
